Charles Newton Seely

Woodburn – Funeral services will be held at the Ringo Funeral chapel at 3 p.m. Tuesday, July 17 for Charles N. Seely, 74, who died Saturday at his home at Dayton, Wash.  Mr. Seely was born at Wilsonville, Ore., May 2, 1877 and later lived on a farm east of Woodburn until 1930 when he moved to Washington.  He leaves four sons, Clifford, Wilsonville; Raymond, Grand Coulee; Clarence , Moscow, Idaho; and Lt. Col Deryle Seely, U.S.M.C., North Carolina; two brothers, Ralph and Blaine, Woodburn; a sister, Mrs. Mabel Brobst, Wilsonville: and five grandchildren.  Interment will be at Belle Passi cemetery beside his wife Lena, who preceded him in death 14 years ago.

Woodburn – Charles Newton Seely, 74, formerly of nearby Wilsonville, died July 14 at Dayton, Wash.  Final rites will be held at the Ringo chapel here at 3 p.m. Tuesday, July 17, with the Rev. E. Kay Fenton officiating.  Interment will be at Belle Passi cemetery beside his wife.

Deceased is survived by four sons – Clifford of Sherwood, Ore., Raymond Kenneth of Coulee Dam, Wash., Clarence of Moscow, Idaho, and Deryle of North Carolina; two brothers – Walter B and Ralph of Woodburn; a sister, Mable Brobst, of Sherwood; and several grandchildren.
