Carrie Dawn Seely entered the gates of heaven on June 21, 2016 surrounded by her precious family and her faithful baby boy Lucky. Carries long battle with cancer began at the age of 15 and at the young age of 27 she won the battle and received her victory.
Carrie was born on October 12, 1988 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She attended Pretty Water School until 8th grade. She then went on to Sapulpa Jr. High and Sapulpa High School where she graduated in 2007.
Carrie is proceeded in death by her Grandpa Carl Seely, her Papa Rual Butler, her good buddy J.D. Steenbergen and her angel baby.
Carrie is survived by her parents Carl (Taco) and Terri Seely of Sapulpa, OK, her brother Cole Seely of Chicago, IL. Her grandma Frances Butler of Sapulpa, OK, Grandma Josie Seely of Sapulpa, OK, Grandma Faye Stephens-Paneitz of Sand Springs, OK, and Grandfather Robert (Bob)Brawley of California. She is survived by Uncles Roger Butler of Sapulpa, OK, David Butler of Sapulpa, OK, Mike Stephens of San Springs, OK, Darrell Seely of Kiefer, OK, Steve Nunley of Cleveland, OK, Randy Nunley of Colorado, and Kenneth Brawley of Idaho. Aunts Carol Lopez of Texas and Robin Wix of California. She is survived by too many wonderful cousins to list and many close friends that were like brothers and sisters to her.
Carries celebration of life will be held Saturday, June 25, 2016 at 1pm at Faith Church located at 1901 W. 171st St., Glenpool, OK. She will be laid to rest at South Heights Cemetery. Carrie is being handled with care at Smith Funeral Home located at 1208 S. Main, Sapulpa, OK. The viewing is Friday, June 24, 2016 from 5pm to 7pm at Smith Funeral Home.
Bearers will be Bobby McGuire, Brandon Presnell, Jarrod Pulley, Chris Fuller, Josh Steeples, Blake Butler and Jeremy Carlock. Honorary Pall Bearers will be T.J. Goodman, Keith Arterbury, Matthew Pulley, Roger Dale Butler, and Zach Butler.
