Bertha Ann Seelye, Age 80, of Covington, TN, passed away February 16, 2020 after a long battle with Alzheimers. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, February 29 at the Covington Funeral Home chapel with interment to follow in Magnolia Gardens Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Mrs. Seelye was a homemaker and worked at J.C. Penney’s for many years. Prior to her death Bertha lived in Arlington, TX with her granddaughter Anna Rowe Griffith and her husband Steve Griffith.
She is survived by her sons Robert Seelye of Kentwood, MI and Kenneth Seelye of Irving, TX; brother Roger Gamelin of Caledonia, MI. Her mother-in-law Winona Petersen of Edmore, MI. 14 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild. She leaves behind many other family and friends who will sadly miss her.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years Virgil Seeyle; parents Harry and Florence Gamelin; brother Harry Gamelin Jr.; children Linda Rowe, Brian Seelye, and Mark Seelye.
