Alice Seely Thompson, 63, 2554 Hannon Road, Harborcreek, died Saturday at Hamot Medical Center.

She was born on Sept. 10, 1925, at Oil City, a daughter of the Late Elmer and Flossie Luce Seely.  She had resided in Harborcreek for 40 years.

She was an active bowler, was president of the Friday Night Pinchaser League, and a member of the Gutterball League.  She was a member of the executive board of the Erie Women’s Bowling Association.  She also was a coach for 30 years for the Junior Bowling League at Eastway Lanes.

She was a member of the 600 Club and the American Legion Carl Neff Post 571 auxiliary.

Besides her husband, Henry L. Thompson Sr., she is survived by four sons, Henry L. “Butch” Thompson Jr. of Pensacola, Fla., and David, Mark and Daryl Thompson, all of Erie; a sister, Violet G. Morrison of Union City; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Fay Lathrop, and a brother, Thomas A. Seely.

Friends may call at the Dusckas Funeral Home East, 2607 Buffalo Road, this evening from 7 to 9 and Monday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m.
