Mrs. Agnes Coleman Seely, 88, of 216 Old King’s Highway South died September 11 in Notre Dame Convalescent Home. She was the wife of the late Charles H. Seely.

Born January 1, 1885 in Ireland, she has been a resident of Darien since 1910. She was a member of the St. John’s R.C. Church, Noroton.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Al Brunner of Darien and Mrs. Virginia Bundergaard of Rowayton; two sons, Holly H. Seely and Coleman C. Seely of Hyannis, Mass.; a brother, Edward Coleman of New York City; two sisters, Miss Mary Coleman of Bayonne, N.J. and Mrs. Sarah Flaherty of Ireland; 14 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial was held at St. John’s R.C. Church. Interment was in Woodland Cemetery, Stamford.

The Edward Lawrence Funeral Home, 2119 Post Rd., Noroton, was in charge of funeral arrangements.
