SEALY, Larry Von Went to be with the Lord on November 21, 2016 he was 88 years old. He was born to Maggie and Willie Sealy on March 7, 1928. He was the third child of five siblings. He was joined in marriage to Mildred Spigner on April 4, 1951. Seven children were born to this union. He was a loving and caring father to all his children. Larry was a proud veteran of the United States Navy. He earned a degree at Oklahoma State Tech in mechanics. Larry moved to Ohio as a young man with his wife, Mildred and their first of three children to start his career. He worked many years as a mechanic for the City of Dayton. Larry was later promoted to Supervisor of heavy equipment at the airport. Oklahoma was always in his heart. He enjoyed playing the guitar and he loved hitting the highway to various pool checker tournaments. He was a junior master with several trophies to his credit. Larry had a tremendous sense of humor. Jokes anyone? He was preceded in death by his parents, son, Larry Jr.., his wife, Mildred of fifty-seven years, three sister, Videll Walker, Marjorie Cooper, and Evelyn Crooms. He leaves to cherish his memory his brother, LaFermont Sealy; two sons, Ronald Sealy and Darrell (Wanda) Sealy; three daughters, Glenda (Jimmy) Hill, Linda (Mike) Winston, and Sharon Hawkins; 16 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends; and our deepest gratitude to his very special friend, Mary Pendleton. Funeral services were held on Friday, November 25, 2016 11:00 a.m., at the LORITTS-NEILSON FUNERAL HOME, INC., 3924 W. Third St. The family began receiving friends & relatives at 10:00 a.m. Reverend Dr. Beverly J. Daniiels, officiating. Interment to held on Tuesday, November 29, 2016 at the Abramsville Cemetery Gene Autry, Ok. Assisted by the Kirk Funeral Home.
