Thaddeus O. Seely Sr.
Thaddeus O. Seely Sr., 81 of Plain City (Jerome) died Monday, July 5 at Memorial Hospital of Union County.
He was born Oct. 18, 1900 to Albert L. and Marilla (Pinney) Seely and was a member of the Jerome United Methodist Church and Urania Lodge No. 311, F. and A.M.
He is survived by his wife, Frances, a son Thad, Jr., Plain City, a daughter Mrs. A.L. (Martha) Birdwell, Port Neches, Texas, and five grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Jerome United Methodist Church with the rev. Phillip Prince officiating and interment in Jerome Cemetery.
The deceased will lie in state for one hour prior to the service.
Friends may call at the Ferguson Funeral Home, Plain City from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. on Wednesday and contributions may be made to the Jerome United Methodist Church.
