Russell Seely, Sr., 86, of Pampa, passed away August 16, 2020 in Pampa.

Graveside services will be 10:00 AM, Friday, August 21, 2020 at Memory Gardens Cemetery with Rev. Joel Osborne of Fellowship Baptist Church, officiating. Burial and arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.

Russell was born on June 19, 1934 to Dorothy and Phillip M. Seely in Kettle Falls, WA. He grew up and attended school in Cleelum, WA. His family moved to Pampa and although they eventually returned to Washington, Russell remained. And that is where he later met the love of his life, Wynona Orndoff and they got married on October 19, 1954 in Pampa. He worked as a welder at Cabot, IRI, and National Oil Well Varco and he retired after 32 years. He was long-time member of Fellowship Baptist Church of Pampa.

Russell’s favorite pastime was to work and collect cars, especially Hudson cars. He also liked the outdoors and found enjoyment travelling with his wife in their RV all over the country. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend.

He was preceded in death by 2 sons, Russell Seely, Jr. and Michael Seely; parents, Phillip M. & Dorothy Seely; by a brother, Carl Seely; and by a sister, Shirley Thomas.

Survived by his wife, Wynona (Orndoff) Seely of the home; two sons, Phillip Seely and wife Debby of Corpus Christi and Stephen T. Seely and wife Tarra of Amarillo; 4 grandchildren, Craig Seely and wife Susan of Lefors, Lance Seely of Amarillo, Melody Mullen and husband Todd of Lubbock, and Kelly Jo Story & husband Dan of Prineville, Oregon; 7 great-grandchildren, Brody Seely, Tristan Seely, Cheyenne Seely, Lane Seely, Bailee Mullen, Cooper Story, Easton Story; 3 siblings, Bob Seely, Susan Graham, Stephen Seely.

Memorials can be made to the Fellowship Baptist Church at 622 E. Francis Street, Pampa, Texas 79065.
