Mattie E. Seeley of Flippin died Monday (March 24, 1997) at her home. She was 61.
Mrs. Seeley was born Sept. 1, 1935, in Campbell, Ky. She married Edward L. Seeley on Dec. 12, 1953, in Louisport, Ky. She had been the president of the TPS Chemical Co. Canadian, Texas, and moved here in 1986. She worked at Chastain’s Restaurant until her health failed.
She is survived by her husband, at home; two sons, Mike Seeley and his wife, Marla, of Siloam Springs and David Seeley and his wife Rebecca, of Elk City, Okla.; a daughter, Connie Howie and her husband, Gary, of Riberside, Calif.; a brother, Terry Brisco; eight grandchildren, Keith, Mark and Matthew Seeley of Siloam Spring, Jennifer, Jeff and Jay Seeley of Elk City, Okla., Michael David Howie of Riverside, Calif., and Michelle Johnson and her husband Jeff, of Almond, Wis.; and a great-grandchild, Ed Johnson of Almond, Wis.
There will be a memorial service at Roller Funeral Home Chapel at 1 p.m. today with the Rev. Jerry Backus officiating. Burial will be private.
