Mrs. Jacob Sealey Died In Delaware

Burial At Oakdale Cemetery This City, Sunday – Former Resident of Marysville

Mrs. Jacob Sealey, widow of a former well known brick mason in Marysville who passed away four years ago, died at 5:30 Thursday morning in Delaware, at the Jane Case hospital.  Her demise was directly due to a broken hip which she sustained in December, being the same hip that was broken in December four years ago.  On account of her advanced age, seventy-eight years, Mrs. Sealey was unable to recover from the shock.

Since the death of her husband Mrs. Sealey has resided in Delaware with her son-in-law and daughter Mr. and Mrs. F.D. Bauder, 173 East Winter street, at whose home the funeral service will be held at ten o’clock Sunday morning.  The body will be brought to Oakdale cemetery, Marysville, for interment besides her husband.

Mrs. Sealey always had a very warm spot in her heart for Marysville where some of the happiest years of her life were spent.  Before coming here to live Mr. and Mrs. Sealey had made their home for a time in Dover township.  They were originally from Delaware county, having lived there at the time of their marriage.

There are four daughters living, Mrs. Bauder, of Delaware; Mrs. Marie Eackhorn, Cincinnati; Mrs. Minnie Saxon of Columbus; Mrs. Mattie Dailey, Delaware.  Two sons are deceased, one of them Joseph Sealey, having died in Marysville.  There are also one granddaughter, who Mrs. Sealey raised, four grandsons and two great grandchildren.
