Mark Seeley
Mark Seeley, age 74, of Hobart, formerly of Douglas AZ., and St. Petersburg, FL., passed away October 27, 2017. He was a high school teacher for the Merrillville and Lake Central school systems. Mark also loved to teach children various subjects outside of school. He graduated from Purdue and obtained a Master’s Degree from Austin Peay State University. Mark was also an employee of U.S. Steel Sheet and Tin Mill, as an electrician, as well as owning an electrical company in Ft. Meyers, FL. He loved to travel, going to many places like Hawaii, Australia, New Guinea and St. Croix. He also enjoyed going to auctions.
Mark was preceded in death by his parents-Clayton and Margaret Seeley. He is survived by his brother-Scott Seeley of Hobart; nephew-Matt (Amanda) Seeley; great nephews-Jacob, Isaac; great niece-Katlin.
Friends and family may visit with Mark’s family on Friday, November 3, 2017 from 10-12:30 p.m. at Burns Funeral Home, 701 East 7th Street, Hobart. Funeral service will be Friday, November 3, 2017 at 12:30 at Burns (Hobart). Interment Ridgelawn Cemetery, Gary.
