Mrs. Mabel H. Seely, 69, wife of Joseph Seely, North Berwick, a former resident of Old Orchard Beach, died yesterday at a Sanford hospital following a brief illness.
Born in Somerville, Mass., January 2, 1893, she was a daughter of John and Margaret (Hoy) Morrison and made her home at Old Orchard Beach for many years before moving to North Berwick in 1955. Both Mr. and Mrs. Seely were active in the Old Orchard Beach Methodist church and they made their home on Atlantic avenue.
Besides her widower, she leaves a son, Rev. Ernest L. Seely, Barre, Vt.; a sister, Mrs. Alvan Howard, Melrose, Mass. and two grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 11 a.m. from Hayes Funeral home, North Berwick and interment will be in Puritan Lawn cemetery, West Peabody, Mass.
