Seeley, Lynda Christine, age 62, of Scottsdale, AZ died on October 2, 2017. She will be remembered for her big heart and quick sense of humor. Lynda was born in Boulder, Colorado on February 2, 1955 and was raised in Horseheads, New York and Scottsdale, Arizona. She graduated from Coronado High School in 1973 and Arizona State University in 1980. She studied theatre and creative writing and subsequently worked as a substitute teacher for the Scottsdale School District. Lynda was preceded in death by her sister; Kathryn A. Seeley, her maternal grandparents; Natica and Victor Seger of Staten Island, NY, maternal uncle; Victor Seger II, paternal grandparents; Richard and Mildred Seeley of Millerton, PA, paternal aunt; Marilyn Cowburn and paternal uncle; Jonas Seeley. Lynda is survived by her beloved parents; Laurel (Seger) Seeley of Scottsdale, AZ and Richard J. Seeley of Phoenix, AZ, along with her many loving cousins, aunts and friends. Memorial Services will be held at 2:30 PM on Saturday, October 7, 2017 at Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home, 4800 E. Indian School Road, Phoenix. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Lynda’s memory to Heifer International.
