DEATH OF UNCLE

Word has been received here of the death of Mr. Luther Seeley of Delaware which occurred Friday at his home.

Mr. Seeley is an uncle of Mrs. F.D. Bauder of South Columbus street who is critically ill with pneumonia.

Luther Sealey died at his home in Stratford at 7:15 o’clock Friday morning following an extended illness. He was born at London, Ohio, May 15, 1845 and came to Stratford at the age of 17.

He was a member of the Stratford M.E. Church and George B. Torrence Post G.A.R. having served three enlistments in the Civil War in the 145th Ohio National Guard Regiment and the 86th O.V.I.

Surviving are: one daughter, Mrs. Eva McWilliams of Urbana; one son, G.W. Seeley, of Stratford; six grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Monday afternoon at two o’clock at the Stratford M.E. church in charge of Rev. W.H. Fisher and burial will be made in Oak Grove cemetery.
