James Emmet Seeley

Funeral services for James Emmet Seeley of Redding will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Reardon Simi Valley Mortuary in Simi Valley.

Burial will be in Oakwood Memorial Park in Chatsworth.

Seeley died Sunday at Memorial Hospital in Redding. He was 67.

A native of Bradford, Pa., he was born May 25, 1904.

A retired oil driller, he had resided in Shasta County for the past four years.

Seeley leaves his stepson, Charles Croman of Redding; and his sister, Helen Thomas of Belmont, N.Y.

James E. Seeley

James E. Seeley, 67, of Anderson, former Bradford resident, died in a California Hospital March 5.

Born in Bradford, he was a son of the late Emmett E. and Anna B. Seeley. He was educated in the local schools and while living here, worked in the oil fields as a driller and continued in that line of work in California.

His wife, Josephine Seeley, preceded him in death. Surviving are a sister, Mrs. Marian Thomas of Belmont, N.Y.

Burial was in Oakwood Cemetery, Semi, California.
