Services Are Held In Visalia For Springville Nurse

Visalia, Sept. 14. – Funeral services were held this afternoon for Mrs. Eunice Florence Seeley, 52, a nurse at the Springville Sanitarium, who died Tuesday at the Visalia Municipal Hospital after a short illness.

A resident of Tulare county for, the last ten years, Mrs. Seeley was a prominent member of the Order of Eastern Star chapter in Porterville. That lodge will officiate at the funeral services at 3 p.m. tomorrow in the Brooks Chapel here. Burial will follow in the Exeter Cemetery, with graveside services under the auspices of the Farmersville Grange.

Mrs. Seeley was a native of Kansas, moving to Avila when a young child.

She is survived by one son, Clarence Seeley of Ivanhoe; three grandchildren, and four brothers and sisters, Walter Beam of Delano, Dolpho Beam of Three Rivers, Lymon Beam of Strathmore, and Mrs. Wesley Beam of Strathmore, and Mrs. Wesley Smith of Exeter.

Mrs. Seeley worked as a practical nurse for many years.
