Elinor F. Cilley, age 88, of South Main Street died Wednesday, April 25, 2012, at her home surrounded by her family.

She was born in Milton, Mass., daughter of the late Forrest and Evelyn (Edson) Richardson. She was a graduate of Leominster High School, Leominster Mass. Elinor and her husband Harold were owner operators of Cilley’s Auto Body shop in Bow for many years. She also was employed by the former McKerley’s Nursing Home as a receptionist for 13 years.

She was an active member of the Bow Fire and Rescue Auxiliary, the Bow Woman’s Club helping organize numerous fund raising events. She was a member of the Woman’s Ordinance Workers (WOW) during the war effort during WWII, working on and keeping the military vehicles in working order at Fort Devens Mass.

She was predeceased by her husband Harold White Cilley; one son, James H. Cilley; and one sister Mary Grimes.

She is survived by two daughters, Corinne Stoney of Concord and Karyn Chouinard of Epsom; one son, Allan Randall Cilley of Concord; 11 grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and one sister, Norma McDonald of Westboro Mass.

Visiting hours will be held Saturday, May 5, from 10 to 11 a.m. at the Waters Funeral Home, 50 South Main St., Concord.

Funeral Services will follow at 11 a.m. in the Chapel of the Waters Funeral Home.

Burial will be in the Alexander Cemetery, Bow.
