Mrs. Edith Hill Seeley Dies In Los Angeles
Mrs. Edith Hill Seeley, who spent her girlhood in South Haven, passed away at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ray Burgh at Los Angeles, Calif. She had lived in Lansing for many years but had made her home in Pasadena, Calif., for approximately three years and had gone to the Burgh home because of her illness with pernicious anemia.
Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon at Lansing and burial was there beside her late husband.
Surviving are her daughter Harriett, a grandson, Frederick, and a sister, Mrs. Donna Hill Horton, who has just sold the old family home at 223 Huron Street, and is now residing at 203 Monroe Street, in the Katherine Beven home.
Mrs. Seeley has retained many of her early friendships here.
