Darlene J. Seeley, 76, a resident of the Anamosa Care Center, died Sunday, Aug. 4, 2002, at the care center following a long illness. There will be no services. Inurnment: Riverside Cemetery, Anamosa. Arrangements by Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Marion.
Survivors include her husband, Norman A. “Luke”; their children, Thomas Seeley and wife Terri of Nacogdoches, Texas, Joseph Seeley and wife Debbie of Anamosa, Sharon Theisen and husband Mike of Monticello, Minn., William B. Seeley and wife Kris of Monticello, Iowa, and Daniel Seeley and wife Brenda of Anamosa; and 10 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her brother, William Rosencrantz; and a grandson, Joel Theisen.
Darlene was born Oct. 19, 1925, in Des Moines. On July 23, 1950, she married Norman A. “Luke” Seeley in Anamosa. Darlene was an inspector at Emerson Electric for 11 years.
