Long time resident of Odessa, NY passed away after an extended illness on Thursday, September 21, 2017 at the age of 68. Bonnie was born May 2, 1949, a daughter to the late Bruce Michael and Bessie May Reynolds Chabot. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Floyd Seeley of 39 years and brother, Bruce Chabot Jr. Bonnie is survived by her sons, Aaron C. Seeley, N. Peter Seeley, and Benjamin (Paula) Seeley; grandsons, Ryland A. and Alden B. Seeley; siblings, Brent L. (Tammy Lynn) Chabot, Becky L. Chabot and Betty Lou (Chuck) Smolos; sister-in-law, Deborah Seeley; and many extended family members and loving friends. She graduated from Horseheads High School in 1967 and Elmira College with a Masters in Elementary Education. Bonnie taught in Odessa Montour School District for over 22 years. Bonnie was a mother, educator, volunteer and active member of the Odessa Baptist Church. She cherished her time as a reader, writer and also enjoyed projects in and out of the community and church. Bonnie spent many hours as “Mom’s Star the Clown”, Certified Humor Doctor donating all her proceeds to local charities. The family will welcome relatives and friends to Sullivan’s Funeral Home, 365 E. Franklin St. at Rt. 13, Horseheads, NY on Saturday, October 14, 2017 from 10-12 noon. Bonnie’s Funeral Service will follow at 12PM with Rev. Dr. Jeremy Spencer. She will be laid to rest at Laurel Hill Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
