AMSTERDAM – Mrs. Antoinette Seeley, 55, of 31 Northern Blvd, died Saturday (Jan. 25, 1992) at St. Mary’s Hospital, Amsterdam, following a long illness.
Born in Amsterdam on April 13, 1936, she was a lifelong Amsterdam resident.
Mrs. Seeley was a homemaker and was a communicant of St. Michael the Archangel Church.
She was married on Aug. 9, 1953 to Robert S. Seeley.
Survivors besides her husband include one son, Robert A. Seeley of Amsterdam; three daughters, Robin Pozefsky of Ansonia, Conn., Mary Jane Seeley of Queensbury and Amy Beth Seeley of Amsterdam; one brother Richard DiMatteo of Amsterdam; two sisters, Delores Bielecki of Hagaman and Joyce Baum of Utah; and five grandchildren.
Services will be held at 8:15a.m. Tuesday at Betz Funeral Home, 171 Guy Park Ave., Amsterdam, followed by a Mass of Christian burial, celebrated at 9:15 a.m. Tuesday at St. Michael’s Church.
Burial will be at St. Michael’s Cemetery.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
The family has suggested that memorials take the form of donations to the Touch Volunteer Program of St. Mary’s Hospital, Amsterdam.
