Memorial service was held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Christian church for Mrs. Alice D. Seeley, conducted by Rev. Robert L. Burton and Rev. Dean W. Berger. Favorite hymns were sung by Miss Peggy Whittington, accompanied by Mrs. H.A. Werden. Interment was at Oakdale Memorial Park.

Mrs. Seeley was the daughter of Samuel P. and Mary V. (Ragland) Atchison, both natives of Kentucky. She was born in Indiana, and passed her childhood at Parsons, Kansas. She was married to Alfred M. Seeley on December 23, 1891, at Kansas City, Mo.

After a few years in Minneapolis, Minn., Mr. and Mrs. Seeley came to Covina in 1895. Cypress avenue, and developed one of the best orange groves in this vicinity.

They were early members of the Christian Church of Covina, Mr. Seeley working with the men in the construction of the walls.

Mrs. Seeley has been active in club and church work, and has many friends in the community.

A daughter, Miss Margaret Seeley resides in Los Angeles. She has been with her mother for the past several months.
