Wakefield The wedding of Miss Nan Ellen Bland, daughter of the Rev. and Mrs. Lineous Preston Bland of Wakefield, to Walter Clifton Seeley Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Seeley of Wakefield, took place yesterday at 4 p.m.
The ceremony was performed by the bride’s father in Wakefield Methodist Church.
The bride was given in marriage by her brother, Lineous Preston Bland III of Portsmouth.
Miss Barbara Rose Carter of Clarksville was maid of honor. Miss Lillian Wallace Stephenson and Miss Nancy Hall Epps of Wakefield were attendants.
Mr. Seeley was his son’s best man. Ushers wee Sidney Albert Brittle, Benjamin Price Bland, brother of the bride; Webster Vernon Rodgers Jr., Earl Winston Holt, Thomas Joseph White, and John Lillious Seeley, brother of the bridegroom, all of Wakefield.
The couple will make their home in Wakefield.
