Friday afternoon at the office of the probate judge in Winfield, Judge Willis White officiating, occurred the marriage of Mrs. Mollie Carpenter and M.E. Seeley, both of this city. The ceremony was witnessed by several friends of the contracting parties and immediately following the marriage Mr. and Mrs. Seeley returned to the city. The newlyweds will leave the city on Monday for Russell, Kas., near which place they will make their home on his ranch.
Mr. Seeley, who has been in the employ of the A.H. Fitch Music Co., for a number of years past, has resigned and will move away, as stated above. His bride is also well and favorably known in the city as she has resided here for some time. Congratulations are in order for Mr. and Mrs. Seeley and their friends will wish them many years of joy and happiness.
