Miss Stehr now Mrs. Seeley

A wedding was solemnized in St. Andrew’s United church Dec. 20, when Rev. Harry Joyce, D.D., united in marriage Edna Stehr and Joseph Duncan Seeley.  The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. L. Stehr, Churchbridge, Sask., and the groom is the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. J.J. Seeley, formerly of Grand Coulee.

The bride was gowned in white satin and her dress was fashioned with long sleeves and a lace insert at the neckline.  The skirt was scalloped along the edge and draped with lace.  Her floor-length veil was held in place by a heart-shaped coronet.  Her bridal bouquet was of red roses, and she wore the gift of the groom, a triple strand of pearls.

Pamela H. Smith, formerly of London, Eng., was the bride’s attendant.  Her gown was of turquoise blue.  A heart-shaped coronet held her pink shoulder-length veil in place.  Pink carnations made up her bouquet.

Charles Moxon attended the groom.

A wedding reception followed at the home of Mr. and Mrs. H. Seeley, 1120 Princess street.  Mr. and Mrs. J.C. Seeley of Grand Coulee and Mr. and Mrs. H. Seeley received with the bridal couple.  Assistants at the reception were: Mrs. J. Gordon, Miss Peggy Seeley, Misses Lorraine and Joan Gordon.  Toast to the bride was proposed by Charles Moxon.

Mr. and Mrs. Seeley left for a honeymoon in Yorkton and Churchbridge.  For traveling the bride donned a black tailored dress, topped by a blue coat with black accessories.  They will make their home in Regina.
