Carol Ann Seeley Becomes Bride Of Dean Miller

Altar bouquets of white gladioli and Chrysanthemums, candelabra and large baskets of gladioli provided a pretty setting for the wedding of Carol Ann Seeley and Dean Fredrick Miller.

The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Claude H. Seeley of 6795 Glenview Road, Mayfield Village, and the bridegroom’s parents are Mr. and Mrs. Harold Miller of 931 Crater ave., Dover.

The Rev. Howard W. Brown officiated at the double ring ceremony which was performed t 7:30 in the evening.

A gown of imported Swiss embroidered organdy over white taffeta was worn by the bride.  The gown featured a full skirt extending into a train.  The bride’s fingertip veil was of illusion and she carried a colonial bouquet of white roses and stephanotis.

Miss Sally Seeley, sister of the bride, was maid of honor and another sister, Sue Seeley, and a college roommate, Miss Virginia Converse on Mantua, were bridesmaids.  All wore floor length white organdy gowns over light blue taffeta.  Their bouquets were of red roses and white carnations.

Paul Miller of Dover, brother of the bridegroom, was best man.  Ushers were Charles Snyder and another brother, Earl Miller, both of this city.

A light blue dress with white accessories was worn by the bridegroom’s mother and a corsage of pink carnations was at her shoulder.  The bride’s mother was attired in a dusty pink organza frock with which she wore white accessories and a white carnation corsage.

Before the ceremony, nuptial music was provided by Mrs. Charles Meyers, organist and Sylvia Murray of Creston, college roommate of the bride, who was soloist.  Miss Murray’s selections were “Because” and “I Love Thee.”

A color scheme of pink and white was carried out in decorations at the reception which followed the ceremony.  Later the couple left for a wedding trip through the Shenandoah Valley.  The bride’s traveling costume consisted of a white linen suit with aqua accessories and an orchid corsage.

She is a graduate of Baldwin-Wallace College where she was affiliated with Phi Mu sorority.  She will teach in Dover schools this fall.  The bridegroom, who has served with the U.S. Army, is employed by the Greer Steel Co.
