Vernell Seely Worthen Boulter

East Carbon – Vernell Seely Worthen Boulter, 70, died Feb. 26, 1987 at her home.

She was born April 22, 1916 in Castle Dale to Levi Earl and Wilmertha Moore Seely.  She married Peter C. Worthen in 1932; he died in 1967.  She later married Acel C. Boulter Jan. 4, 1975.  She was an active member of the LDS Church.  She was very compassionate towards other people.  A gifted artist, member of the Carbon Art League.

She is survived by her husband, A.C. Boulter, East Carbon; children, Marian V. (Mrs. Lewis) Allen, Green River; Dr. Ellis C. Worthen, Salt Lake City; Connie (Mrs. Garth) Noyes, Hanksville; three stepsons; 30 grandchildren; and 28 great-grandchildren; brothers, Drannan Seely, Huntington; Leith Seely, Salt Lake City; and Elvin Seely, Michigan.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, March 3, 1987 in the East Carbon LDS Chapel at 11 a.m.  The family will be at the church one hour prior to services.  Burial, Ferron City Cemetery.
