Elizabeth Case
NEWCASTLE – Funeral services for Newcastle resident Elizabeth Case, 63, will be held today at 2 p.m. at the Newcastle Assembly of God Church with the Rev. Norman Brotzman and the Rev. J.D. McGuire co-officiating. Burial will follow in the Newcastle Greenwood Cemetery.
Mrs. Case died of natural causes at her home Jan 5, 1998.
She was born Dec. 7, 1934 at Upton, the daughter of Carlton and Alma (McEntire) Seeley. She was a waitress for 43 years. Most will remember her at the Old Mill Inn in Newcastle, where she worked from the day the establishment opened until her retirement.
One of her biggest loves was her daisies. She had them growing like wild flowers all over her year. She spent a lot of time tending her yard and took great pride in it. She also enjoyed bowling and spending time with her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Keith Seeley and one granddaughter.
Survivors include her husband, Bob Case of the family home; three sons, Donald Bodell of Rawlins, Danny Bodell of Casper and Dirk Bodell of Draper, Utah, a daughter Bobby Jo Scoot of Powell; two brothers, Carl Seeley of Newcastle and Tom Seeley of Casper; two sisters, Mary Thoet of Newcstle and Bertha Billings of Jackson; 11 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial has been established to the Wyoming Make-A-Wish Foundation.
