CHARLESTON – William “Bill” Seeley, 81, of Charleston died at 5:55 p.m. Tuesday (Jan. 24, 1978) in Fontanbleu Nursing Home, Charleston.
The funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Friday in Harper-Swickard Funeral Home, Charleston, with burial in Resthaven Cemetery, Mattoon. Friends may call at the funeral home from 5 to 9 p.m. Thursday.
Mr. Seeley was born in Toledo, the son of John and Dora Seeley. He married Lucille Drum, who died in 1962.
He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Harold (Catherine) Dennis of Charleston and Mrs. Gene (Frances) Morgan of Neoga; two sons, Charles and Frank, both of Charles ton; three sisters, Mrs. Ralph (Oma) Logan of Arcola, Mrs. Harold (Flossie) Highland of Champaign and Mrs. Kenneth(Frances) Phipps of Decatur; 14 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
He was a member of the Nazarene Church in Charleston.
He was a retired construction worker.
