William E. Seeley
William E. Seeley, 66, of 149 S. Arch St., a retired boat mechanic, died yesterday at the Nathaniel Witherell Hospital, Greenwich, after a brief illness. A life-long resident of the town, he was the son of Mrs. Nellie Cavanaugh Seeley and the late William E. Seeley.
Besides his mother, he is survived by four sisters, Mrs. Catherine S. Doran, Mrs. Elizabeth S. Weisheit and Henry W. Juan of Greenwich, and Mrs. Jane S. Haviland of Whitney, N.J. His brother John J. Seeley, former chairman of the Fairfield County Democratic Party, died in 1945.
Services will be held Wednesday at 9 a.m. from the Fred D. Knapp and Son Funeral Home, thence to St. Mary’s Church for a Solemn High Requiem Mass. Interment will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
