William “Brent” Seeley, 58, Ogdensburg
Funeral services for William “Brent” Seeley, age 58, of the Middle Road, Ogdensburg, will be held on Friday, June 6, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at Frary Funeral Home on 515 Caroline Street with Rev. Thomas Nichols officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery following funeral services. Calling hours will be held on Thursday, June 5, 2014 at Frary Funeral Home from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Mr. Seeley passed away on Tuesday, June 3, 2014 at his home surrounded by his loving family.
William is survived by his loving wife, Janice; two step children, Danielle (Stanley) LaFave and Michael (Angela) Johnson; nine sisters, Mary McMillan, Betty (Russ) Casselman, Joanne (Ron) Shannon, Doreen (Gordon) Vanston, Irene Greer, Gloria (Gary) Whiteland all of Canada, Pauline (Keith) Armstrong of Ogdensburg, Bonnie (Pete) Bracy of Florida and Linda Seeley and her companion, Sandy, of Ogdensburg; three brothers, Joseph and Ronald Seeley both of Canada and Lee (Joanne) Seeley of Ogdensburg; two grandsons, Stanley III and Evan LaFave; his brother and sister in law, Randy and Gina Elliott of Canada and their children Aaron, Scott and Tamara Elliott; and several other nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by a sister, Ruth Bruno.
William was born on June 15, 1955, in Ogdensburg, the son of Coleman and Margaret Peters Seeley. He attended Morristown Central School. William married Janice Perkins on July 30, 1983. He first went to work for the Rodney Bush Farm and later at the Fishel Farm. For the past thirteen years he had worked for the Town of Oswegatchie Highway Department and part-time at the Royal J. Acres Farm.
He enjoyed fishing, hunting, playing cards with his buddies and also belonged to the summer horseshoe league. William’s greatest love was his grandchildren.
