Last night at 9 o’clock Mr. S.E. Seeley died after a lingering illness at his home, 918 North Tenth street, age 72. The deceased had been a resident of Fort Smith for about four years. He leaves a widow, a son and daughter, E.P. Seeley, and Miss Julia Seeley. The funeral will take place from the late residence of the deceased at 10 o’clock tomorrow morning. The interment will take place in the city cemetery.

The funeral of the late S.E. Seeley took place this morning at 10 o’clock from the residence of his son, E.P. Seeley, 918 North Tenth street. The funeral was largely attended. The services were conducted by the Rev. C.P. Smith of the Central church, and the interment was in the city cemetery. The friends of the deceased manifested their sorrow by the gift of beautiful flowers. The pall bearers were A.D. Morris, Thad Reynold, Charles Boyd, W.J. Murphy, John Smith P., A.J. Hoffman, William Breen, William Blair. A choir composed of Mrs. Garrison, Miss Keam and J.D. Van Winkle furnished vocal music of a high order.
