Seymour Seeley

HARTFORD – Seymour Seeley, a native of Glens Falls and a resident of Hartford, died Wednesday (Oct. 17, 1984) in Emma Laing Stevens Hospital in Granville after a long illness.  He was 82.

Mr. Seeley was born May 13, 1902, the daughter (sic) of Edward L. and Flora Tennett Seeley.

Besides his wife, Mabel Stark Seeley, surviving are: three sons, Louis C. Smith Jr. of Hartford, Raymond C. Lake of North Hero, Vt., and Guy W. Lake of Randolph, Vt.; a daughter, Dorothy E. Raymer of Claremont, N.H.; two brothers, Alvin Seeley of Glens Falls and Walter “Ted” Seeley of Smiths Basin; and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday in the Robert M. King Funeral Home, Granville, by the Rev. E. Clayton Burgess, pastor of the Hartford United Methodist Church.  Burial will be in Moss Street Cemetery, Hudson Falls.

Friends may call from 1 to 2 p.m. Friday in the funeral home.

The family has suggested that memorial donations be made to the American Lung Association and that flowers be omitted.
