S.L. (Roy) Seeley

Roy Seeley rites Friday at Plymouth

PLYMOUTH – S.L. (Roy) Seeley, 74, died of a heart attack at his home here Wednesday.  Funeral services will be Friday at 2 p.m. in the Plymouth Methodist Church with burial in Plymouth Cemetery.  The Rev. Charles Birchmeier will officiate.  Bride’s Funeral Home, Manly, is in charge of arrangements.

Born in Forest City, May 28, he was the son of George and Martha Seeley.  He was married to Adah Kruse, Dec. 17, 1911, at Broadland, S.D.  He opened a garage in Plymouth in 1914.

Surviving are his wife, four children, Mrs. Alvin (Alice) Tennihill, Joy, Ill.; George, Plymouth; Mrs. Herbert (Nellie) Lunde, Osage; Donald, Huron, S.D.; 10 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and a brother, Sherman, Clear Lake.
