Ruth Mayo Seeley
Mrs. Ruth Mayo Seeley, 86, of Ellenboro, passed away January 2, 2017. A native of Parkersburg, WVA, she was the widow of Henry Seeley and the daughter of the late Bernard Mayo and Vera Whitlatch Mayo. She was a bookkeeper for Associated Transport and was the owner of Double Bar S where she expressed her artistic talent with woodworking and painting. She attended Bethel Baptist Church.
She is survived by her children, Christy Stacy (Jimmy) of Mount Holly, Larry Goosman of Ellenboro and Keith Goosman (Lynda) of Denver; four grandsons; one granddaughter; and two great-granddaughters.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 5, 2017 from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm at Eggers Funeral Home of Cliffside. Funeral services will immediately follow in the chapel at 2:00 pm. Burial will follow in Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to all the staff at Hospice House of Rutherford County.
