Ruth L. Seely

August 27, 1928 – September 15, 2019

Ruth L. Seely, of New Port Richey, Fla., passed away Sunday, September 15, 2019, at Dickinson County Healthcare System, Iron Mountain, Mich. She was born on August 27, 1928 to the late Fred and Florence (Hasley) Loge, and grew up in Niagara Falls, NY, and lived in Lewiston, NY, before moving to Florida.

She truly enjoyed traveling and was able to spend a lot of time in Mexico and Niagara, Wisc., where she liked reconnecting with nature, the smell of wood smoke in the air, Canadian geese, the slower pace of life and the color of leaves in autumn. Ruth liked playing Mexican Train, practicing Ti Chi, doing water aerobics, and was a super-competitive ping-pong player.

She is survived by two sons, Chuck (Vicki) Seely, Phoenix, Ariz., Jim Seely, Point Pleasant Beach, NJ.; one daughter, Carol (Bob) Harrigan, Lutz, Fla.; one brother, Howard Loge, Grand Junction, Colo.; four grandchildren, Caroline (Chris), Kristine, Jennifer, Bobby; and special friend, Gary Johnson, Niagara, Wisc.

In accordance with Ruth’s wishes private family services were held.
The family has chosen the Jacobs Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Iron Mountain, to honor Ruth’s legacy of life.
