RUSSELL R SEELY SR
Of West Bloomfield, passed away on July 13, 2008 at the age of 75. Beloved husband of Shirley for 54 years. Russ was a passionate man who was extremely committed to everything he was involved with, including his family, barbershopping, and his business. Russ was director of the Lakeshore Chorus and for half a century, he brought joy and harmony to all those who heard him sing. Russ also left his mark on the city of Detroit by providing parts from the steel business he created over 35 years ago. Along with his wife, he will be dearly missed by his sons, Russell, Jr. (Susan) and Matthew (Tina) and daughter, Jillian (Allison) as well as by his grandchildren, Ryan, Alexandra, Laura and Anthony and his siblings, nieces, nephews, and countless friends. The funeral service will be Wednesday, July 16, 2008 at 1 p.m. at the Union Lake Chapel of the Elton Black & Son Funeral Home, 1233 Union Lake Rd., White Lake. Visitation will be Tuesday from 2-8 p.m. and on Wednesday from 12 noon until service. God had a vacancy in his choir and he brought Russ home to fill it.
