Rose Seeley

Mrs. Rose Seeley, 87 of 343 Roosevelt St., died at 1:15 a.m. today at Grancare Nursing Center.

She was born July 18, 1888, at Dotyville, the daughter of the late John and Mary Carty Hardimon.  On Aug. 6, 1913 she was married to George Seeley at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, and he died Jan. 1, 1941.

Mrs. Seeley was a member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church and an honorary member of the Altar Society.

Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Edward (Virginia) Frisque, Mrs. Donald (Bernice) Hausauer and Miss Maureen Seeley all of Fond du Lac; a son, Eugene of Milwaukee; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.  Two brothers and a sister preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Zacherl Funeral Home and at 11 a.m. at St. Patrick’s Church.  The Rev. Edward Sippel will officiate, and burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.

Friends of Mrs. Seeley may call after 4 p.m. today at the funeral home.

In addition to survivors listed in the obituary for Mrs. Rose Seeley, who died Tuesday, she is survived by a brother, Tom Hardimon of Fond du Lac.  The omission was due to the information not being given to the Reporter by the attending funeral home
