Robert W. P. (Bob) Seeley, 61, of Linesville, passed away on Monday, August 29, 2016, at UPMC Montefiore in Pittsburgh, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Born March 16, 1955, in Meadville, he was the son of Robert and Virginia Sheckler Seeley.  He married Janice Moss on March 14, 1987 in Linesville.

Bob was a 1973 graduate of Conneaut Lake High School.  At age eighteen, he started with Sheckler Contracting and was employed for over forty years.  He retired as construction foreman and enjoyed traveling for the company.  For several years, he served as the Linesville Borough Tax Assessor.

He was a member of the Pine Masonic Lodge 498, the Linesville American Legion Post 462, and the Pymatuning Sportsman’s Club all in Linesville.

Bob was an avid fisherman and hunter.  He enjoyed reading, gardening and he was a skilled artist.  He was involved with adopt a highway for twenty-five years.  Bob loved his cats Phoebe and Small Cat.

Survivors include his loving wife of twenty-nine years, Janice (Sissy) Seeley; his father, Robert S. Seeley of Hannaville; his mother, Virginia M. Seeley of Jamestown; a son, Christopher Robert Seeley and his companion, Katie Wickert, of Linesville; two daughters, Theresa Jean and her husband, Kirk, of Colchester, Vermont and Tina Moss Davis of Middleburg, Florida; four grandchildren, Collin, Ben, Carter and Maysen; three step-grandchildren, Tucker, Samantha and Aidan; two sisters, Loretta Enterline and her husband, Charles, of Jamestown and Kimberly K. Seeley of Geneva; a brother, Homer (Randy) Seeley of Atlantic; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a son, Anthony (Tony) Moss.

Calling hours will be Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Royal-Coleman Funeral Home, 6028 U.S. Highway 6, Linesville.  A Masonic Service will be held at 8:30 p.m. at the funeral home.

A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. on Saturday at the funeral home with Tim Solomon, friend of the family, officiating.  Following the service a luncheon will be held at the Pine Masonic Lodge 498, 101 E. Erie St., Linesville.

The family suggests memorial contributions may be made in Bob’s name to the American Cancer Society, 505 Poplar St., Meadville, Pa 16335, the Pymatuning Lake Association, P.O. Box 78, Westford, Pa 16134-5078 or the Pine Masonic Lodge 498, P.O. Box 597., Linesville, Pa 16424.
