Of 2286 Shelby St., Columbus, GA. Passed away on Wednesday, February 3, 1999 at the Martin Army Community Hospital, Ft. Benning, GA. Robert was born on March 3, 1938 to Stephen F. Seeley and Bertha Bryington. Robert lived in Columbus, GA for 35 years and was a retired 1st Sgt. With over 23 years of service in the Army. He was a cabinet maker by trade, and a compassionate man at heart. He leaves on this earth his 3 daughters, Stephenie Owens of Columbus, GA; Brenda (Mark) Talmage of Horseheads, NY; and Krista (Don) Steele of Strongstown, PA. Son, Scott Seeley of Bellwood, PA. Brother, Floyd (Jeanne) Seeley of Horseheads, NY. Eight grandchildren and among his many friends, his good buddy and fishing partner, Gordon Unrein of Columbus, GA. He was predeceased by his son, Stephen Floyd Seeley. Friends are invited to call at the Barrett Funeral Home on Tuesday, February 9, 1999 from 7 to 9 PM. Committal and Interment will take place in St. Francis Xavier Cemetery in Overton, PA on Wednesday, February 10th at 11:30 AM. Rev. Michael Harris will officiate the services. In lieu of flowers it would have been Robert’s wishes for you to give your children a kiss and hug.
