ROBERT R. SEELY
ROBERT R. SEELY, 82, of Huntertown, died Sunday, Nov. 4, 2007. He was born on Dec. 25, 1924, in Fort Wayne, to Arthur and Nellie (Rhoads) Seely. He married Delta L. Swick in February 1948; she preceded him in death in April, 2005. He was an operating engineer-boiler tender at Fallstaff Brewery in Fort Wayne, for 30 years. He was also a World War II Army veteran, and a Huntertown resident for over 30 years. Surviving are son, Alan (Brenda) Seely of Auburn; daughter, Coleen Seely of St. Paul, Minn.; granddaughters, Devin, Candice and Elizabeth Seely of Auburn; brother, Richard Seely of Fort Wayne; and sister, Virginia Miller of Fort Wayne. Service is 10 a.m. Thursday at Thomas Funeral Home, 1277 CR 56, Garrett. Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial in Covington Memorial Gardens. Memorials to Emmanuel Lutheran Church, LaOtto.
