Rebecca Ann Cristell Seeley
Rebecca (Becky) Ann (Cristell) Seeley, 66, of Medina, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Friday, April 13th, 2018. She was born January 27th, 1952 in Lodi, Ohio.
Becky grew up in Liverpool township and graduated from Buckeye High School in 1971. She worked at Chick Master Inc. in Medina from which she retired in 1999 after 23 years of loyal service. She took some time off to relax before going back to work at Giant Eagle and then Buehler’s in Brunswick.
She enjoyed planting flowers and tending to her garden. She also enjoyed cooking, baking and decorating cakes. Another favorite past time was sitting at the picnic table while calling “Mr. Hummingbird” and watching other hummingbirds. But what she enjoyed the most was watching her kids and grandchildren play sports and other after school activities. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend and will be missed by the many who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her husband Jeff; children, Christy Seeley, Timothy (Kristin) Seeley, Brian (Erin) Seeley; mother, Elizabeth Cristell; brothers, John Cristell and Scott Cristell; sisters, Peggy Cristell and Shirley Sandmann; grandchildren, Noah, Dominic, Zach, Gabe, Kora, Abigail, Isaac, Elijah, Isabella and Hannah; nieces & nephews, Andrea and Benjamin Cristell, Denny and Jonathan Cristell, Christopher and Rachel Sandmann, Trisha Baker, Kayla (Cristell) Smith and Ryan Cristell, Debi (Ruder) Jones, Denise Ruder and Jimmy Ruder; and many extended family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, Emil Cristell and brother Terry Cristell.
Family will receive friends Wednesday, April 18, 2018 from 4 to 8 P.M., at Waite and Son Funeral Home, 765 North Court St., Medina. A private burial service will be held on a different date. Pastor Brian Seeley will officiate.
