Larry Ray “Abe” Seelye
Larry Ray “Abe” Seelye, 77, of Midland, died Friday evening, Feb. 7, 2020 at his home. He was born Nov. 30, 1942 the son of Andrew and Loretta (Wetherell) Seelye in Midland where he was raised and educated. Abe was a member of the Sanford Eagles Post 3677 and the Sanford Moose Lodge 2519. On July 8, 1961 he married Norma Bovee.
She survives him as well as his children, Ronald (Marti) Seelye, Dale Seely, Nancy (Dale) Pococke, Tim Seelye all of Midland, Gary (Robin) Seely of Gilbert, S.C.; stepdaughter, Kim Reed of Eaton Rapids; brother, Dennis (Gail) Seelye; sisters, Camilla Hammond, Vicki (Steve) Root; 19 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild due in June. He was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Jenny Bicknell.
Funeral services will take place at 1 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 13, 2020 at Ware-Smith-Woolever Funeral Home, 1200 W. Wheeler St. Friends may visit with the family on Thursday from 11 a.m. until time of services. Rather than flowers, memorials may be offered to the family in memory of Larry.

Larry Ray “Abe” Seelye, 77 of Midland, died Friday evening, February 7, 2020 at his home. Funeral services will take place at 1 p.m. Thursday, February 13, 2020 from the Ware Smith Woolever Funeral Chapel, 1200 West Wheeler Street, with Pastor John Elledse officiating. Abe’s family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 11 a.m. until the time of service. Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider his family.
