James Monroe Seeley, 77, of Odessa, passed away, Tuesday, November 21, 2017 in Odessa, TX. He was born Saturday, November 11, 1940 in Plainview, TX to the late Rosie Mae (Whaley) and Cecil Albert Seely. James married Betty (Nelson) Seely Tuesday, December 24, 1963 in Lubbock, TX.
Those left to cherish his love and memories are his wife: Betty (Nelson) Seely of Odessa; one son: Randy Seely of Odessa; one daughter: Jamie Mitchell and husband Edward of Odessa; two grandchildren: Bridget Fulfer of Odessa and Jesse Mitchell of Virginia Beach, VA; and one great-grandchild: Allison Fulfer.
He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers: Ernest, Joe and Merle; and three sisters: Dorothy, Barbara and June.
Services will be held privately by the family at a later date. Arrangements are entrusted to Acres West Funeral Chapel.
