Irene M. Seely, 66, of Erie, passed away on Wednesday, May 23, 2018, at St. Vincent Hospital. She was born on August 21, 1951, in Erie, daughter of the late Armand J. and Caroline J. Boozer Spano.
She worked as a nurse at St. Vincent Hospital. She enjoyed bowling, playing bingo, and also her animals (Romeo and Bruno).
Besides her parents, Irene was preceded in death by a brother Samuel Spano.
Survivors include a son Thomas Seely and a sister Theresa Spano-Hunt (James), both of Erie and her nieces, nephews and cousins.
Relatives and friends are invited to a benefit to celebrate Irene’s life at the Fulton Club, 1309 East 9th Street, on June 23, 2018 from 2 to 6 p.m. Edward J. Garr Funeral Home, Inc., 459 East 12th Street, Erie, PA 16503, are handling the arrangements.
