Ida Seely Of White Hall Dies
WHITE HALL – Mrs. Ida Mabel Seely, who had been cared for in a shelter care home here, died at 2:40 a.m. Wednesday at White Hall hospital at the age of 89 years.
She was born in Greene county June 29, 1882, daughter of Arthur V. and Margaret Close Houghton. She was married to Harry Seely, now deceased, and was mother of a daughter, Dee, also deceased. One brother, Guy Houghton of Patterson, survives. Two brothers are deceased.
Mrs. Seely was a clerk for Patterson township for many years and also a member of White Hall Presbyterian church.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the Dawdy-Wolfe Funeral Home with burial in White Hall cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p.m. Thursday.
