Horace D. Seely
Seely: Horace D. Seely, a retired school principal, died Thursday at a Harlingen hospital. He was 85. Graveside service will be at 10 a.m. today in the Justin Cemetery in Justin.
Goen-Hudgens Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Seely was born in Justin and lived in Harlingen for 15 years. He was a graduate of Sam Houston University and received his master’s degree in school administration from Texas A&M. He was a principal in secondary and elementary schools for 25 years. He was survived by his wife, Dorothy Vera Seely of Harlingen.
Area survivors include two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
