Giles G. Seely Dies At Home in Fairdale
Giles G. Seely, 79, Fairdale, Susquehanna County, died Sunday at home.
The funeral will be tomorrow from the Bowen Funeral Home, 74 Church St., Montrose, with services at 2 P.M. in Fairdale Methodist Church. Rev. Henry Kiesel will officiate. Burial will be in Fairdale Cemetery.
Mr. Seely was born in East Lynn, Susquehanna County, son of the late Martin and Mary Greene Seely and formerly taught school at Transue and Dimock. In recent years he was engaged in farming.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Anna Fuller Seely; three sons, Orlo F., Fairdale; Arden W., Madison, N.Y., and Donald L., Sheds, N.Y.; a brother, Claude, Fair Hill, Pa.; three sisters, Mrs. Tura Parker, Fairdale; and Mrs. Della Steiger and Mrs. Nina Raub, Montrose, and six grandchildren.
Friends may call at the funeral home tonight from 7 to 9.
