Gerald N. Seely

Gerald N. Seely, affectionately known as “Jerry”, passed away peacefully Monday, August 19, 2002 in his Toledo home.

Jerry attended Macomber High School and Later served in the U.S. Army, stationed in Ft. Hood, Texas. Retiring in 1986, he was employed by the Pepsi Bottling Company for 34 years as a driver/salesman. Jerry was a member of the Eagles #197 and the Cousino Club. He was a fast pitch softball pitcher, and played basketball for Zion EUB. He also enjoyed golf.

Surviving are Jerry’s loving wife, Shirley: daughters, Debbie (Mike) Lowery of Toledo, Diane (John) Bond of Swanton, and Dawn (Todd) Flaherty of Maine: sons, Don (Jane) Seely of Sylvania and Dan (Wendy) Seely of Florida: 8 grandchildren: 1 great-grandson: and 2 brothers, Tom and Bill Seely, both of Sylvania. Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Evelyn (Nee-Gerding) Seely.

Friends may call at the Reeb Funeral Home, Sylvania, on Thursday, August 22, 2002 from 4 to 9 p.m. where funeral services will be conducted on Friday at 1 p.m. with Reverend Gary L. Rader officiating. Interment will follow in Ottawa Hills memorial Park.
