Mrs. Flora Seely, 65, well known resident of the Chapmanville district, died at 4:30 a.m. today in the home of her brother, Clyde Armstrong of Diamond. Mrs. Seely suffered a stroke at 8 o’clock Friday evening.

Born March 28, 1885, in Plum township, Venango county, she was the daughter of Frank and Emma Armstrong Smith.

On November 1, 1905, she was united in marriage to Noel Seely in Jamestown, N.Y. Mr. and Mrs. Seely moved to Chapmanville and operated a farm successfully until the time ill health forced Mr. Seely to retire.

Besides her husband, Mrs. Seely is survived by her mother, and three brothers and two sisters: William Armstrong of Titusville; John and Clyde Armstrong of Diamond; Mrs. Mattie Smith and Mrs. Esther Proper of Diamond. Also surviving are three step-brothers and two step-sisters: Willis Smith of New Richmond: Roy and Ray Smith of Diamond: Mrs. Eva Kightlinger of Diamond and Mrs. Leona Allen of Rt. 5, Cochranton.

The body has been removed to the Williams Funeral arrangements will be announced.

Mrs. Noel Seely

Funeral services for Mrs. Flora Seely, who died very suddenly Saturday morning from a stroke, will be held Tuesday afternoon at 2 p.m. at the Williams funeral home in Chapmanville, with Rev. J.L. Murray in charge. Interment will be in the Chapmanville cemetery.

Mrs. Seely was a daughter of Frank Armstrong, deceased, and Emma Armstrong Smith and was born Nov. 28, 1885.

Besides the mother, she leaves her husband, Noel Seely and the following brothers and sisters: William Armstrong of Titusville, John and Clyde Armstrong, Mrs. Esther Proper and Mrs. Mattie Smith of Diamond: the following step-brothers and step-sisters: Willis Smith, New Richmond, Roy and Ray Smith and Mrs. Eva Kightlinger of Diamond and Mrs. Leona Allen of Route 5, Cochranton.
